CapitalQuest ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Rookie Markets mobile application and the website at capitalquest.co (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect only the minimum information needed to operate the Service.

Account Information you provide:

• Email address — used to create and authenticate your account and send service-related communications.
• Name — used to personalize your experience within the app.

Information collected automatically: When you use our app, our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) automatically collects technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and crash diagnostics. This is used to keep the app stable and reliable.

What we do not collect: We do not collect real financial account information, payment details, government-issued IDs, contacts, precise location data, or advertising identifiers. Rookie Markets uses simulated trading — no real money or brokerage accounts are involved.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create, maintain, and secure your account
• Provide and personalize the educational features of the app
• Communicate with you about updates, support requests, and service notices
• Diagnose technical issues and improve performance
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

CapitalQuest is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
